John's overriding objective is to bring a sense of cohesion to the House of Representatives - to cut across party lines and encourage all members to work on behalf of the people, regardless of political affiliation. He believes that the middle class has become the forgotten class, and that action must be taken to stop its erosion and breakdown.

Together with his wife Rose, John is a proud parent of four children: Angelina, Emily, John and Alyssa. The family resides in the northwest side of Chicago.
The issues John believes will be critical in the coming election include the war; illegal immigration; the securing of retirement benefits and social security; the rising cost of energy; the housing market; and the current administration's inablity to pass legislation in regard to making education affordable to families.
I do not believe that the U.S. is heading in the right direction. Globally the United States does not enjoy the reputation it once did, economically we are on the verge of a recession, and have historic deficit levels, due to trade imbalances and a weakening of the dollar.
