Education

The No Child Left Behind law has been moderately successful. I believe it was a well-intentioned law in its premise. To improve this law it is very important that the government continues to properly fund and adjust the funds accordingly. It would be beneficial to expand the early childhood education programs. I would like to see greater parental involvement in the process, along with smaller class sizes. The government must view education as a total package of parental involvement, teacher-school interaction, and nutrition-healthcare management. All segments need to be integrated for the best interest of our children. The government’s role is to fund as promised and to promote and motivate all parties to fulfill their obligations.
